Norway spruce yellowing tips

Asked May 21, 2018, 10:58 AM EDT

i have 3 norway spruce planted in a row 15 ft. apart. i have noticed yellowing tips on the whole tree and the bottom branches are losing some of their needles. Is there a nutrient deficiency or something more serious? they are about 8-10 ft. tall and were transplanted at about 2+ yrs ago for new construction. there has been new growth on the top, maybe a foot total since planting. wondering what to do, if anything?

You could sprinkle a small amount of an all-purpose garden fertilizer, such as 10-10-10, around each tree.

It's important to continue to water the trees during dry periods in 2018.
