Invasive perennial

Can you tell me what this plant is? It is choking out my strawberries. I’ve done some research and it May be goutweed but I’m not sure. Long narrow roots the run parallel to the ground Thanks. Kent Whitney

It does look like Goutweed, also known as Bishop's Weed or Snow on the Mountain when it is variegated. It is very difficult to eliminate! You can pull it but any root left in the ground will grow again. If your berry patch is full of it you may have to kill everything and start over. Here is a link to compare.
