Pocket Gopher

Hello, We live on 5 acres in west Eugene and have a pocket gopher problem. Our neighbors have their whole pasture full of them and they are now coming over to our fields and I am worried our livestock will step in a hole and break a leg. What can be done to get rid of these gophers? Would tilling up both of our pastures get rid of them? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
