Homstrup Arborvitae Winter Snow Damage

Asked April 30, 2018, 12:05 PM EDT

I have 3 plants that were bent over and buried by the heavy snows this winter. I need to transplant them because they are not working in the area as we thought. Are the plants too far gone to save and transplant? Lots of dead on the inside of plants and really bent over. Appreciate your comments. Thanks Henry Paetzel

If the branches are tied up they will straighten over the summer. They are a little big for transplanting but other than effort you might loose, if it works you have a larger tree that is already paid for.
