Morning glories

Asked April 29, 2018, 2:16 PM EDT

I would like to try to grow morning glories. I read that the seed must be soaked for 24 hours prior to planting. Is the soil warm enough yet for planting these? Also.....should they be planted to get morning sun or full sun from the south? Thank you

Germination of morning glory seeds is improved by soaking the seeds. The soil is warm enough to plant them after the weather warms up, usually after May 15th. Night time temperatures should be at least 55 F, every night and not colder.
The garden calendar provided is very useful.
