Can my magnolia tree be saved

Asked April 29, 2018, 10:49 AM EDT

I have 4 magnolia trees. I planted them 3 years ago. This past winter we had a very heavy wet snow storm mixed with freezing rain and sleet. As a result 2 of my trees leaves have turned almost completely brown. Can I do anything to help my magnolias survive?

I regret to say that the magnolias pictured can't be saved. They appear to be poorly seated in their planting holes and may be have compromised roots, and were then further compromised by the harsh weather. I wish the news was better.
