Large areas of grass at condo complex where I am board member are yellowed and appear to be dead. It looks like what would occur from pet urine but areas are too large. Sample photos are attached. Please give us your assessment and remedy if on exists. Thanks so much.
A good start in diagnosing what is wrong with the lawn would be a soil test. One can be obtained from MSU. Please go to msue.anr.edu and search soil test. After you take the samples a report will be sent and you can see what your lawn/soil needs.
