Too late to seed/aeration if lawns?

Because of the cold spring, is it too late to seed/aerate my lawn in Maryland? I plan to use slice aeration then seeding with a top dressing of compost. The weather now is cool, but next week it is going into the 80's and no rain. Will I waste my money if I do this next week?

It's not too late. You can seed as late as mid-May, though earlier is better.
The best time to seed is early fall--also best time to aerate.
