Ridding my lawn of lesser celandine

Asked April 23, 2018, 1:10 PM EDT

Hi I have a patch of about 1 square yard now. I understand if I try to dig it up, that I am likely to be unsuccessful, and that the seed spreads by wind. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Yes, digging is rarely successful, though they spread by bulblets, not seed. Click here for info and controls (be sure to check out the links too): http://extension.umd.edu/hgic/problems/lesser-celandine
