Worms coming from the ceiling

We have some sort of "worms" coming from a small hole in the ceiling of our laundry room. There is also what we think is pulverized wood at the base of the cabinet that is below the hole in the ceiling. Could you please let us know what they are (picture attached) and how we exterminate them.

Probably larder beetle or carpet beetle larvae. I don’t think we can be sure because the photo lacks detail. However, the larva on the right looks like it might have the backward facing horns on its tail end that Jeff Hahn mentions here:

Some carpet beetle larvae look like those shown in the photo too.
