I am wondering if there has been any sampling or testing for nematodes around West Walls between North Ott and Craig Rd. And if so what types and what ate the populations. I am growing multiple varieties of fruit trees and have had various problems.

Sorry your location didn't come through. What city is this? Thanks!

I live on the North East side of Hermiston, Oregon aproximately 5 miles from town.

Generally nematodes are prevalent in Oregon soils especially where monoculture has been practiced. Increasing organic matter helps reduce their population but to confirm there is a real problem, consider submitting a sample to the Botany and Plant Pathology Clinic in Corvallis for testing. Please note there is a fee for the service. Please consult with HAREC for further assistance.
