Trumbull County Ohio birds bird identification

Hello! It's difficult to conclusively identify the species from the single picture, however it is either a Cooper's hawk or a Sharp-shinned hawk. Below is a website where you can read more about the two-species. These hawks are seen throughout Ohio, and more commonly in backyards in recent years. Often bird feeders attract them as they are predators of birds and small mammals. If this concerns you, take down your feeders for a week to encourage the hawk to move on. Don't worry, your feeder birds will return when the feeders come back out.
