rhubarb transplant

Asked April 5, 2018, 1:13 PM EDT

I dug up and transplanted my rhrbarb this past Monday. I used organic matter raised bed mix. That day and Tuesday the plants were fine. Last evening they had wilted. The surface of the soil had dried after the rain but it was still moist an inch down. Will the plants recover if I water them tonight? Will they recover at all? Or should I wait for the possible tonight's rain?

Rhubarb is a tough plant. The ground has been cold and the plants should be fine. Check the soil moisture and make sure the roots do not dry out.
