Colorado Blue Spruce

I have a 70' tall Colorado blue and the top 15' died ...any ideas what it could be Insect? Fungus? (See attached picture)

.I cannot make a diagnosis from a photo (BTW it came through upside down). There are many reasons for the top of a tree to die. It could be as simple as lack of moisture last fall.
