I live in Baltimore md is it to late to plant them

You can still plant your daffodil bulbs now. In general it is best to plant them in the fall, usually when the trees begin to lose their leaves or around the date of the first frost. When you miss the fall planting time, put them in the ground as early as you can in the spring (as long as the bulbs are still firm and not moldy). They may not bloom this year, but they will catch up in future years. It is better to plant them now rather than holding on to them for the fall.
