How do you get rid of voles. How can you be sure they are gone after treatment?
Frederick County Maryland
Here is our webpage on voles, which includes habits and controls: https://extension.umd.edu/hgic/voles
You can fill in the vole holes (tunnel entrances) and watch for new activity. You'd want to keep an eye out anyway, since you know you have an environment that attracts voles. You may want to change the environment if you know what is attracting them, such as a particular groundcover (English ivy) And always keep mulch shallow (1-2", no more) and away from trunks or the base of shoots so voles can't hide under it and gnaw on your plants.
