I opened up two cans of cherries to bake a pie. I notice some of the cherries had big black spots on them. Is this safe to eat

Thank you for sending in your question. After reading your comments, I do not feel that these cherries are safe to eat. The big black spots could be mold or another contaminate that you should not consumer. You can discard the jars contents down the sink or in the trash. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
