Bloming Bush Identification
Thank you for the image of your mystery shrub. It is Viburnum bodnatense, probably the cultivar ‘Dawn,’ the common name Dawn viburnum.
It’s a hardy deciduous shrub (leafless during the winter) which begins blooming after the leaves drop in the fall. (This season, mine started flowering during November and is currently in full bloom, as is the shrub in your image.) The fragrance is most noticeable during dry, relatively warm days.See this page for a full description and images: https://landscapeplants.oregonstate.edu/plants/viburnum-bodnantense-dawn
