How to save Laurel hedge

Asked February 7, 2018, 7:28 AM EST

I thought it is an evergreen. It looks like it’s dying. What can I do?

Looks like the shrub has some winter damage. Broadleaf evergreens like cherry laurel are suffering winter damage due to the harsh winter weather.
Wait until the spring to assess the damage. Typically damaged leaves fall off or are masked by new growth. Severely damaged shrubs may benefit from pruning. Prune to remove dead, damaged or broken branches and to stimulate new growth.
You can send additional photos in the spring if you have more symptoms.
