We here at Feil Orchard in Wenatchee,WA would like to source a stick or two of McShay (Shay) scion wood. We have been unsuccessful but since the variety was developed at Oregon State University, there may be a Shay tree in that area, OSU does have a tree nor does Carlton Plants, holder of the propagation rights. Help would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely,Jack Feil

Thanks for your question on obtaining scion wood. I'm afraid your question has been reassigned ten times, and no one seems to know what or where this might be obtained. There is a WSU page listing orchards that might have it in stock, and the Walden Heights webpage indicates they at least have the tree. I hope this is helpful.
