Thank you for the question. Pine County resides in USDA growing zone 3b so you will need to choose a variety that grows well for your area. Most varieties require a pear tree of different variety to set fruit well. You will find a list of pear trees for zones 3 and 4, along with information about being a possible pollinator for other pear trees. It looks like you will be limited in your options. Only Ure and Golden Spice are listed for zone 3 growing conditions but can be used as pollinators for each other.
