I live outside the Benton Harbor area. Approximately 3 miles east of town off Territorial Rd.,
The tracks I noticed on my rear patio, seem unusual in that they only showed a single line of tracks, spaced from toe to heal, anywhere from 26 inches to 41 inches.
I assume they were in the direction of right to left, but that may be wrong. I know nothing about animal tracks.
I only found them interesting because of the single(instead of double) set of tracks. Photos are enclosed
Can you identify them?
Berrien County Michigan
I believe these are rabbit tracks - See http://www.naturetracking.com/the-5-most-common-animal-tracks-in-snow/ for some more information.
Thank you Darren. Since I'm not familiar with tracking the visual of a three hoof track threw me off. I never thought about a rebounding animal. These look very much like a rabbit track.
Thank you again. You've been very helpful
