I'm not sure what you are asking. Egg laying potential will depend on the breed and management. Leghorns, the commercial strains used in the United States, are usually kept in lay for a year and then replaced or molted and brought back into production. The second production cycle will be lower and shorter than the first. Typically producers don't do more than two molts. With animal welfare concerns these days, many do not molt at all and replace the flock after a year of production.
