My 2yo loblolly pines started from bare roots, are looking kind of yellow. should I do anything?

Somerset County Maryland normal growth trees yellowing needles on 2 year old pine

Typically pines hold their needles for two years, so this may just be normal needle shed that began in the fall.
This second year needle yellowing which occurs towards the interior of the tree may occur all at once and may be quite dramatic.
There is nothing you need to do, but keep an eye on them. They should push out new, healthy growth in the spring.
