Shade plants for soil stabilization

Hello would you recommend plants/ bushes for soil stabilization on a slope with shade?

You will have to consider the site and mature height and width of the plants. All the plants will have to be well watered during the first year of establishment. Mulch with several inches of mulch to conserve moisture and keep away from the base of the plants.

Some suggestions include native ferns; especially hay scented, Christmas fern and sensitive fern, alleghany pachysandra (native), Canadian ginger, Pa sedge, phlox stolonifera, and tiarella. Shrubs - Itea; Part sun/shade - fothergilla, and clethra.
