Than you for including an image of the insect at your place. Judging by the shape, and guessing about its size, this is most likely a psocid -- pronounced so-sid -- which also go by the name of bark lice. they are usually outdoors but can become a nuisance pest indoors when conditions are quite humid, such as may be found in an older, "leaky" house.
"Common Pantry Pests" describes their management if they are in stored foods. Basically, that boils down to checking all open containers of perishables and thoroughly cleaning the storage area.
If they're not in stored foods, they may be coming in from outdoors. Consider caulking a sealing around windows and doorways. Is the heat turned on for the winter? And consider running fan for an extended period, or a dehumidifier.
To verify the identity of the insects, take samples, secured in a rigid container to the Coos County Extension Service office at Ohlsen Baxter Building,
