Is there any law in place that guarantees your right to grow food for personal consumption on your property?

As long as there are no covenants where you live that disallow such activities and said activities do not cause harm (real or perceived) to your neighbor's property rights, you should be protected by the 5th amendment of the U.S. Constitution "nor be deprived of [your] life, liberty or property without due process of law"
