Planting Garlic with Some Paper Wrapper missing

Asked October 26, 2017, 8:15 PM EDT

Hello, I ordered garlic from a garlic garden seller and planted some garlic a couple days ago. While I was pulling apart the garlic cloves, some of the wrapper on one side of the garlic cloves came off, leaving one side bare while the rest still covered in the papery skin. I still planted them but wasn't sure if the garlic would still make it if portions of the paper were gone.

It is okay if some of the paper wrap is missing on the cloves. The garlic will grow and establish roots.
