re-freezing thawed food

Got a question recently about food safety. I know it is safe to refreeze food that has been thawed if it hasn't been cooked. What about if it has been cooked, can it be re-frozen? For example, someone thawed raw meat in the fridge, cooked it the next day, then froze the whole meal the day after. Is that safe?

Yes the example you gave is a safe way to preserve that food. It is especially good that they froze it the day after they cooked it.
