What is the best time to treat for anthracnose in apples (akane)?

Thanks for your question about your apple trees. Assuming you're a homeowner (as opposed to a commercial orchardist), Monterey Liqui-Cop is available to you, and should be applied before the fall rains (!) and again a month later, after the leaves have fallen.
