This is our ash tree. Any suggestions? Every year it grows more of these...

This is our ash tree. Any suggestions? Every year it grows more of these little burrs and the old ones only fall off if you knock them down. So the tree is getting quite full of them. Can anything be done to get rid of them, and will they eventually kill the tree?

These are ash flower galls https://hort.uwex.edu/articles/ash-flower-gall/ They are caused by a mite and are not harmful to the tree. See the fact sheet located at the link I have included here.
