Asked October 5, 2017, 10:20 AM EDT

I recently had my soil tested for a proposed garlic garden. Recommendations are: 22lbs/100 sq ft of lime to increase pH 0.15 lbs/100 sq feet of nitrogen 0.1 lbs/100 sq ft of phosphate 0.4 lbs/100 sq feet of potash What products would you recommend for these soil amendments?

Nitrogen sources recommended by University of Minnesota bulletin for garlic growers:

Phosphorus: Organic-Bone meal

Potash: Organic-Green sand, kelp meal

Other packaged P and K sources can be found at most garden centers, farm stores and harware stores.

Lime packaged for lawn and garden use is also available at the above stores.
