Yard infested by moles.
Just bought a home next to wooded ravine. What is best way to eradicate? Is there a pedt control service. Grub treatment? Thank you. 6087809559.mary Westlund
Dear Ms. Westlund,
We do not have moles in Arizona, but I am pretty sure you are seeing the activity of pocket gophers - we have plenty of them. If the area is not formally landscape (left natural), I would not worry too much about the pocket gophers. However, if you have a lawn, fruit trees, roses, flower beds, or a vegetable garden, pocket gophers will cause problems and can kill plants. Eradication is futile as they continue to move into new areas and will also use abandoned burrows made by previous gophers. Paying a pest control service will likely be prohibitively expensive. Otherwise, gopher management requires a conversation and persistence. I will give you a call. If for some reason, we do not connect, email me directly at email@example.com or call 928-445-6590 ext. 224.
