Diseased tree

I have a grab apple tree. The leaves turn yellow, have spots and for the last 3 years the leaves start falling off the tree early June. This makes for a messy yard all summer long. Is there anything we can do to stop the leave from falling off the tree, or do we need to cut the tree down? If the tree can be saved, how do we do this. If treatment is needed, is there a service we can hire that can treat the tree and what is the cost for this service? Thank you!

What you have described suggests that the tree is being affected by a common apple disease called scab. The following bulletin discusses this and explains what can be done about it.
