Pesticide Regulations

Asked August 26, 2017, 10:13 AM EDT

My husband and I bought property in Sadieville KY. It is over run with dogsbane. We lost our family pet due to her consumption of the plant. My question is regarding the removal of said plant. I'm aware that it is a great food source for insects. We have another pet who we removed from the property until the problem can be solved. Are we able to kill the dogsbane? If so what is the best way to eradicate it without killing other plants on the property?
