Tomatoes are susceptible to several fungal and bacterial diseases that affect the leaves, stems and fruits. More than one may be present and laboratory analysis is sometimes needed to determine which is which.

The following bulletins illustrate the symptoms of some of these pathogens and explain what can be done to control them.

We aren't certain, but our guess is that the fruit shown has been affected by buckeye rot or late blight.
