Planting lettuce in mid August?

Hello MG, Is it too late to plant lettuce this season? I missed getting them in early spring. Thank you! Patty P.

The average fall frost date for your county is approximately the second week in October. Leaf lettuce takes 40-60 days to maturity (depending on the variety you choose) and tolerates a light frost.
