Canning jam and jelly
I have an overabundance of commercially canned plums. My question is this can I make plum jelly or jam from from these canned plums? Is there a recipe for doing so?

commercially canned and frozen juices may be low in natural pectins and make soft-textured jams and jellies.If you use commercial products they should have no sugar added. and because you are using a commerical product the fruit is generally made from fully ripe fruits which are lower in pectin, therefore pectin must be added. select a recipe that calls for adding pectin.
