What caused the condition of this leaf?

We viewed your photo. The foliage on the right looks like it was subject to cherry shot hole, a fungal disease. This can be common when we have wet spring weather and trees recover. No chemical control is recommended. Remove and dispose of fallen leaves in the fall to reduce overwintering pathogens.

Foliage on left - leafhopper (sucking insect) and leafminer damage. No control is necessary. Damage is minor.
