Dry farming/Dog boarding field Grass
We are establishing a small dog boarding field and wonder what grass might be best. Approximately 100K+ sq. ft of non irrigated level ground. Something to keep the pets out of the dirt and resist the chest grass. Thanks Rick Steigman

Rick, I am unaware of a non irrigated grass that would hold up to dog traffic and maintain a growth pattern that would do what you are hoping in our dry, hot environment (summer). You may want to contact the forage specialist in Crook County to see if he has thoughts. The Crook County Extension office number is 541-447-6228.
