Shrivelling Antirrinums

Asked August 3, 2017, 5:28 PM EDT

My antirrinums were really lovely, but over the last couple of weeks they are gradually shrivelling up. They are in a very sunny bed. I have cut them down, will they come up next year. Or should I give up on them and plant different ones next year in a shady bed.
Also have you heard of a geranium (the bushy sort) called James.

Outside United States geranium anthurium

Thank you for your plant questions. Without a picture of your anthurium, it's difficult to diagnose what the problem might be. Most people either over- or under-water them. Here's a link to an article about them and their care. Perhaps you can compare its recommendations with what you're doing, and change your care or planting patterns.

The only reference I can find to any geranium with the name "James" is the Geranium Caespitosum James described here.

Hope these are helpful. Good luck!
