Nectarine Tree

Hi I live in Pendleton County, and was wondering if we can grow nectarine tree's here...What type of fruit trees can we grow here in Pendleton County? Thanks, Becky Phipps beckylee3192@yahoo.com

We are in zone 7 which is a map of the US based on winter cold and plant hardiness. If you plan to grow them I would plan to put the tree in an 18-24 inch container and bring it inside from mid-Nov thru early April.

APples, pears, plums, cherries and peaches are fruit trees that will grow well for you in Pendleton County. I recommend trying to schedule some time with Lindie Huffman the ag agent in Pendleton County to lay out a plan and select cultivars that will work best for your specific purpose.
