I planted hops on a trellis, which has done very well this year, just thought they were kind of a different looking, in a corner of my yard. they have now gone up and over the trellis, which is screwed to a 8 foot wood dog eared fence panel. the wood fence panel is our wind break, between the yard and the cattle yard , when we bring cows home in the fall, just making sure that if they eat any of the vine or the hops this fall that wont be a problem?

I suggest you contact your local veterinarian. Hops is not on Cornell University's list of plants poisonous to cattle. See list below. (The scientific name for hops is Humulus spp.)
