Fruit trees

Asked July 24, 2017, 11:23 AM EDT

We planted 2 peach trees and two apple trees 3 years ago and they have yet to bear fruit. One peach tree had one last year. This year it was loaded with peaches but when they reached the size of large grapes, they all fell off. The apple trees had a good amount of blossoms but only one or two apples. I pruned them as best as i could understand last year but did not touch them this year. We sprayed a couple times for insects. Thank you for your help.

Here is a link to a Penn State publication called "Why is there no fruit on my tree". This year we have had a lot of calls about fruit drop due to incomplete pollination. The constant rain wasn't conducive to bee activity, and that may have been a factor.
