Dear Client,

Your spider is a species of widow spider, Latrodectus. It is a female widow spider.

It is most likely the western black widow spider although we cannot confirm this from the digital image without seeing the underside of the abdomen. Mature female black widow spiders often have the characteristic red hour glass on the underside of the abdomen. Immature female black widow spiders may have an indistinct hour glass or none at all.
