Just pour the water out either into a drain or a dirt/gravel driveway. Do not pour the bugs out with the water. Take a paper towel and wipe the bugs together and then place them into a garbage bag, seal it and throw it away. Some people like to put them in a ZipLock bag to seal in the stink Others like to bury the bugs so they can fertilize the plants they have been chewing on. Beetles that have not been killed with soap or chemicals, also make a great treat for large koi, if you have them. Frequent disposal of the dead bugs, cuts down on the odor too.

Best wishes fighting these pests.
