Late July Vegetable Planting

Asked July 15, 2017, 1:07 PM EDT

Looking to finalize what we will be planting in our church youth garden next weekend...looks like carrots and spinach are ok to plant in late July. If it ok to plant potatoes and does the variety matter?

Take a look at the following two links for our vegetable planting calendar. There are several types of vegetables you can start from seeds in July and August.

Potatoes can be planted up until mid-July. You can probably still put some in if you are planting next weekend.
