Fertilizer for hydrangeas
I planted 3 Annabelle hydrangeas late last year. Deer (or rabbits?) enjoyed them over the winter. They came back very nicely, one in full bloom but other two have less blooms. Still getting new growth. Do you recommend any fertilizer for them? Thank you Kathy Mathews

Apply a general purpose fertilizer (e.g. 10-10-10), at recommended rates on the package. Incorporate dry fertilizer into top 2” – 3” of soil and water thoroughly.

When the plants are growing well and meeting your expectations, no fertilizer is needed.
