pine trees

I live in the Forest Lake area and I have some mature pine trees that turning brown. I've noticed that the same thing is happening to other pine tees of the same variety in the area.I've got Norway spruce that I planted years ago that are doing fine.Is it a fungus because all the rain or what?

Sorry, that is not enough to go on. There are many disorders that cause brown needles. All the needles? All parts of the needles? Only a few branches and if so where? Inside needles or new growth needles? Photos would help (but may not be definitive). Try this diagnostic site:
