Insects Seen in my Apartment

Asked July 12, 2017, 1:10 PM EDT

I saw one solitary bug in my bed then cleaned the whole room and found these larvae, and wanted some help on identification. I do not think they are bedbugs but want to make sure.

Hi,

These are NOT bed bugs. Bed bugs have incomplete metamorphosis (egg, nymph, adult). Larvae indicate an insect that has complete metamorphosis (egg, larvae, pupae, adult). From just the photos alone, it is hard to say what insect these are a larva of. Could be a beetle, moth, ... have you seen any other adult insects? If so, please submit a photo of it.

Thanks,
